Crafting a Refined Identity for East Deli

East Deli, a modern restaurant specializing in gourmet dining, sought a sophisticated yet approachable brand identity that reflected their ethos. This branding project focused on creating a visually distinct and versatile logo that embodies elegance and the warmth of the rising sun.

The problem

Lack of a Strong Visual Identity

East Deli needed a unique and recognizable brand identity that could stand out in a competitive market while resonating with their target audience. The challenge was to capture the essence of their brand—quality, elegance, and warmth—through a minimalistic yet impactful design.

The solution

A Typography-Centric, Symbolic Approach

The brand identity revolves around clean typography with gentle curves and an accent that symbolizes the rising sun from the east. The refined black palette communicates sophistication, while the orange accent adds warmth and vibrancy, creating a perfect balance of contrast and harmony.

the Approach

Thoughtful Design with Attention to Detail

I began with in-depth research into the restaurant's mission and target audience, exploring concepts tied to "east" and "deli." Iterative designs were crafted, focusing on simplicity, balance, and implementation feasibility. The final logo incorporates a smooth flow of typography, accentuated by graphic elements to create a versatile and memorable identity.

the impact

A Memorable Brand Presence

The new logo and color palette successfully position East Deli as a refined yet welcoming brand. The identity resonates with their audience and sets them apart in a competitive landscape. The design’s adaptability ensures it works seamlessly across various touchpoints, from digital to print, strengthening brand recognition.
